Aroonkamon Thongmorn (born 1995, Kanchanaburi, Thailand) holds BA and MA degrees in Fine Arts from Silpakorn University, Bangkok. She lives and works in Nonthaburi, Thailand. Her artwork focuses on transforming discarded materials into 3D mixed-media forms, giving them new contexts. She incorporates industrial waste, utilizing its inherent structures and blending it with other media, letting the objects tell their own stories. Her sculptures merge intricate origami techniques with metal, highlighting materiality through intricate processes. This highlights the potential for humans to mitigate the impact of industrial production through slow craftsmanship.

Aroonkamon has exhibited internationally at the Nordic Contemporary Art Center, Xiamen, China in Xiamen/China as well as at the Treasure Hill Artist Village, Taipei, Taiwan. In Thailand her works have been shown at PSG Gallery, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, as well as The Queen’s Gallery, Bangkok/Thailand among others.
