Marco Evaristti
November 10th - December 8th 2022
Chilean Marco Evaristti is both an artist and practicing architect based in Denmark. Through his art, Evaristti presents ethical dilemmas people face on a constant basis. One notorious project is his installation of functioning blenders containing live goldfish where the audience can choose whether or not to turn the fish into mush.
West Eden is proud to present his work include highlights such as the ‘Pink State’, and a never before seen series where Evaristti uses mixed media and a wide range of materials that include common, discarded items to depict a world that makes us question the choices we make in life and how we choose to act in the midst of the climate crisis and current wars.
He hopes to raise funds at this exhibition for an expedition to Nepal, where he will embark on a new project, collecting discarded oxygen bottles and garbage that litter the path to summit of Everest, and creating sculptures from them.
